Dr. William McCready

Dr. William McCready is the Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs. Dr. McCready came to Thunder Bay in January 1982. He received his training in internal medicine and nephrology in Northern Ireland and Toronto. He subsequently had further training in internal medicine in Saskatoon. He began teaching in the Ontario medical program in 1982 and has held various positions in the organization since then. Dr. McCready was a member of the expert panel on physician human resources and has also been a member of the joint committee of the CPSO/COFM/MOHLTC. In his role as chair of NOMP he was also fortunate enough to be a member of several subcommittees of COFM, including UG COFM, PGM COFM, and DME COFM. He is published in the area of urea kinetics and medical education.
